Jackson Bunn was born in
In 1994, Jackson spent a year in Los Angeles performing with several bands and recorded with a prominent blues artist at the historic A&M records Hollywood. He also had the privilege of hanging out with his long-time friend and mentor-Russell Ferrante- Grammy winning keyboardist/composer of the jazz super group Yellowjackets!
After a short stint in Los Angeles, Jackson's family moved to Miami, FL where he recorded his original jazz project The Jackson Bunn Group-'Chosen Path.' They performed at night clubs and festivals throughout South Florida including City of Fort Lauderdale's Sunday Jazz Brunch, City of Hollywood art Circle Park, and opened for Bela Fleck at Sunfest West Palm Beach 1998. The cd received airplay on WLVE Love 94, WDNA, and WLRN. He performed at the 2002 Atlanta jazz Festival opening for legendary drummer, Roy Haynes. In early 2003, Jackson joined the popular South Florida top 40 band Pangea performing weddings, corporate functions, and night clubs for the past fourteen years. Having recently parted ways amicably with Pangea, Jackson is excited to announce that he will be performing with South Florida's premier horn band, 'The Brass Evolution!' Jackson is a featured keyboardist on saxophonist Wayne Gutshall's new smooth jazz release 'Spicy' due for an October 2017 release date!
