Jackson Bunn
A Biography
Born in Winston-Salem, NC, keyboardist Jackson Bunn has performed throughout the US as a sideman, recording artist, and leader of his own jazz group. Jackson released his first CD, Chosen Path, receiving air play on most of South Florida’s jazz stations including positive reviews from good friend composer/keyboardist Russell Ferrante, of the grammy winning jazz group Yellowjackets, and one of WLVE 93.9FM Love 94’s top dee-jays, Stu Grant.
Jackson has performed with jazz clarinet legend Buddy Defranco, guitarist Randy Bersen, Blues guitarist Albert Castiglia, vocalist Robin Lattemore at the 2002 Atlanta Jazz fesival, sax/flute great Jimmy Brown (Brick) as part of a house gig with the band Northstar, featuring bassist Mike Williams, and as a sideman,Nate Evans of Temptations and Impressions fame. Jackson worked with three other exciting bands in Atlanta from 2000 to 2002, and they are Atlanta Sound, FM109 Classic Rock, and smooth jazz group Momentum at the 2002 Atlanta Jazz Festival opening for Roy Haynes. Jackson resides in South Florida with his lovely wife, Trina, and eight awesome children! Jackson is excited to bring the talents and experiences that God has blessed him with to the South Florida music scene.
